An ideal single day course for someone about to start their Family History or has already dabbled on some of the internet websites.

Join us to briefly consider recording systems on paper, computer or the internet and think about how you might store documents. Then let's look at how to build a tree from scratch with and without information from relatives.

You will get a good overview of how to do Family History and an update on what happening with the internet. Ideal if you are wanting to sort yourself out or go onto doing a longer course.

Guest speaker - Pam Smith, Education Officer, Harrogate & District Family History Society. What does a Society do? How can it help you - whether or not you have local ancestors?
